Trip CBD Oil: How Many Drops? The Per-Drop Maths by Strength

About 1mg a drop in Trip's 300mg oil, 3.3mg in the 1000mg and 5mg in Dream Drops, per UK label text. The drop count for the FSA's 10mg, bottle by bottle.

By Staff, CBD Wire

How many drops of Trip CBD oil to take depends on the bottle. Per Trip’s label text on UK retailer listings read on 24 October 2026, a drop holds about 1mg of CBD in the 300mg oil, 3.3mg in the 1000mg and 5mg in Dream Drops 3000mg: roughly 10, 3 or 2 drops for the FSA’s 10mg-a-day advice.

An evergreen reference; the label in your hand outranks it.

What does the FSA say about 10mg a day?

The FSA’s consumer advice on CBD, read by this desk on 24 October 2026, recommends healthy adults limit CBD from food to 10mg a day. It covers England, Northern Ireland and Wales and is precautionary advice, not a legal limit. The 2mg-versus-10mg explainer covers its origin; the same sum for Trip’s cans is separate.

Frequently asked questions

How many drops of TRIP CBD oil should I take? This site does not set a dose. Trip’s labels say a few drops under the tongue; the FSA advises healthy adults to keep CBD from food to 10mg a day. On the labels read on 24 October 2026, that is about 10 drops of Original 300mg, 3 of Strong 1000mg or 2 of Dream Drops.

How much CBD is in a drop of CBD oil? It depends on the strength. Dividing Trip’s label figures gives about 1mg a drop for the 300mg oil, 3.3mg for the 1000mg and 5mg for Dream Drops 3000mg. The FSA’s own rule of thumb is that 10mg is about 4-5 drops of 5% oil.

Is 70mg of CBD a day too much? Seventy milligrams is the ceiling printed on Trip’s 300mg and 1000mg labels, seven times the FSA’s precautionary 10mg-a-day advice for healthy adults. The FSA says the more CBD consumed over a lifetime, the more likely long-term adverse effects become. This site gives no health advice.

Nothing here states where Trip’s oils sit on the FSA public list. The labels read say they are not for pregnant or breastfeeding women. They are food supplements, not medicines; relaxation and sleep are how the company markets them. For adults.
